Admission

Our Academy does accept foreign students in the Preparatory faculty for Russian medium or in the first course of the English medium, and if vacant seats are available, to the senior courses (except 6^th course).

The study program for Russian and Foreign students is of International standard.

A student must be admitted and matriculated before 1^st of September of the current study year.

To start the admission process an applicant must send by e-mail to admission@mechnik.spb.ru or by fax

1. Application form for Admission (attached)

2. Questionnaire (attached)

3. Certificate of complete Advanced high secondary Education(Physics, Chemistry, Biology) equivalent to the Russian type of Certificate (for 1^st course), affirmed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the native country, supplied with official translation of the document into Russian and affirmed in the Embassy (Consulate) of Russian Federation and notary attested by Russian Ministry of Education

4. Copy of the passport

5. Students who want to be transferred from Russian or foreign Medical Schools to the Academy, must submit documents from previous Medical School and Zachot Book (Credit book) copy, verified by Medical School.

6. Health Certificate.

Financial Obligations of student for 2009 – 2010 study year:

- cost of accommodation – 22400 Russian Rubles per year

- cost of preparatory course – 38400 Russian Rubles per year

- cost of study year in Russian medium – 109000 Russian Rubles per year

- cost of study year in English medium – 150000 Russian Rubles per year

- Medical Insurance – 4500 Russian Rubles per year

If the student’s documents have been accepted by our Commission he/she will be notified through an “Admission letter”, after that an “Invitation Letter” will be sent to him/her. Through the “Invitation”, the applicant can obtain a study visa to Russia at the nearest Russian Consulate (Embassy).

For a student to be accepted to our Academy and join the study group he/she must sign the official Agreement after arrival to the Academy and pay all the fees (hostel, tuition, medical insurance).

For the 1^st course of English Medium applicants must pass the entrance tests by Biology, Chemistry and English Language.
